Final Conference Interreg Malšemuschel

After a long wait due to the pandemic, the successful cross-border Interreg project Malšemuschel was brought to a scientific conclusion at the beginning of October. In the wonderful ambience of the baroque chateau in Český Krumlov, experts from the three countries Czech Republic, Germany and Austria met for two days and discussed ecological and river engineering aspects of transboundary water protection and the protection of the Freshwater pearl mussel in particular.

It was also agreed to pursue new joint projects. Since waters cross borders unhindered on their way, their protection can only be a profoundly European task.
