At the latest meeting of the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR) we had – together with the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) – the opportunity to present the Upper Austrian projects on fine sediments and nutrients in aquatic ecosystems.
The ICPDR is currently working on a new strategic orientation on agriculture in the Danube catchment area. The main topics of the conference were hence erosion and nutrient inputs as well as increasing droughts. It was a very interesting exchange of knowledge and new partnerships could be established for these future challenges.
